Case study
CazéTV
FinOps, managed services and a dedicated on-call team for the channel that changed how Brazil watches sports.

About the client
CazéTV has become much more than a YouTube channel for sports broadcasts. Launched in 2022, the channel stands out from its competitors for connecting with its audience, delivering quality content and being multiplatform. It's fair to say that CazéTV has changed the way Brazil watches sports.
The challenge
Before hiring KXC, CazéTV faced significant challenges in managing the costs of its AWS infrastructure. Because it was complex to identify every cost associated with each infrastructure component, and because instances, storage and other AWS services were misconfigured, the streaming channel at times ended up using resources inefficiently and, as a result, paying more than it needed to.
The solution
KXC, an AWS partner, drew on its cloud infrastructure management expertise and consultative approach to propose a solution based on FinOps principles. KXC put detailed infrastructure management in place, which allowed CazéTV to benefit from four essential aspects of cloud financial management: full cost visibility, resource optimization, data-driven decision-making and better value for money.

Results
The partnership with KXC Tecnologia brought a significant transformation to CazéTV, improving the financial and operational management of its AWS infrastructure. By implementing advanced FinOps practices and detailed management, KXC gave CazéTV:
- Full cost visibility, giving the streaming platform a clear, detailed view of all its AWS costs and pinpointing the areas with the highest usage and the opportunities for optimization.
- Resource optimization through usage data analysis, which made it possible to find and fix misconfigurations, rightsize instances and optimize the use of other services, significantly reducing costs.
- Data-driven decision-making, with more strategic choices about its cloud investments and a focus on the initiatives that create the most value for the business.
- Better value for money, achieving, with KXC's support, the best performance at the lowest cost.
What the client says
The partnership between CazéTV and KXC stood out for the significant transformation in how the company manages its cloud infrastructure.
KXC's expertise has helped us a lot internally. We want to do A, B, C and D, and you guide us on what makes sense to execute, suggest the best options, and that's how we get the best value for our money.
Speaking about the partnership between KXC and CazéTV, Júnior Santos also highlighted his satisfaction with the support received, on-time delivery and the technical team's skills. He added that KXC's three main strengths throughout the partnership have been management, expertise and agility, and said these qualities are key to solving the challenges they faced efficiently and to the success of the collaboration. KXC has thus established itself as an essential strategic partner, with a significant positive impact on CazéTV.
